Anyone here that likes poetry should give me something to write one about and or give me a storyline :) i wanna see if i can do it .. LOL

I brought two books to help with mine from Amazon called The Poetry DIctionary and Creating Poetry both by John Drury...step by steb guides and give ideas of what to write about, also a rhyming dictionary is good.

i think you should have a poem that is based on life itself or little events in your life that seemed to have a big impact. im a poet for my school and done all kinds of poems. you can always choose passion, humor, reality, sadness, forgiving, relationships, yourself( who you are scared of being and people dont know much about) but there is so much towrite about and you have alot of words to work with.:)

i think you should do a story or poem about something you never imagined you would write about..it'll surprise ya what you can write bout if you think you cant do it

That actually is a good idea i have tried to write about stuff that i wouldnt ever think about writing about but i guess if i dont feel strongly and passionately about a subject the poetry i write is horrible in comparison with when i DO feel strongly about a subject!! Any suggestions? :)

never doubt yourself...I'm horrible at poetry!!! but im a pretty good writer! just start out with stuff you know and then once you feel confident enough, go onto the stuff you dont know

oh and in greek mythology Persephone was a beautiful demi god i think that brought the change of the seasons when she was on earth it was summer or spring when she wasnt it was fall or winter idk i just LOOOOVE the name! ooh or Athena is pretty too ^_^

oh yea wasnt that a movie?!? lol i watched it!! and ik i rly do love greek mythology too :) lol and i believe Lilith was suppossed to be a temptress and she was Adams first wife that wouldnt bend to his sexual desires or whatever so he made eve from his rib so that she would be loyal and always bend to his desires or something lol so i like Lilith bc she can have any man she wants but she isnt gonna be pushed around!! wow i typed alot!! ^_^
