The linear equation y=-4x+2 is in slope -intercept form. Find the slope and the y-intercept?!?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

coefficient (number in front) of x is the slope (m) and b is the y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you have slope intercept form (y = mx + b) then m stands for the slope and b is the y-intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so m=-4 and b=2 if it was y=4x-2 then m=4 and b=-2
