The polynomial 0.04h-0.018-2.69 can be used to estimate the lung capacity in liters, of a female with height h, in centimeters, and age a, in years. Find the lung capacity of a 60 year old woman who is 170 centimeters tall.

I think your formula is missing the age component. I'm also thinking that, since these formulas are found by regression, the age variable would be attached to the 0.018...also, we wouldn't expect the age of the person to seriously affect the lung capacity (i.e. age were attached to 2.69, her lungs would shrink to nothing as she got older). So, for h=170 and a = 60, you have\[0.04(170)-0.018(60)-2.69=3.03\]liters.
