What postbac programs are best?
I have to find something to do for a year before I can apply again to med school. What should I do?
Depends on what you are trying to improve on. If your grades a low, you need to establish your academics through grades. Try the academic enhancer programs. If you havent taken the premed requirements, you will need the career changer post bacs.
there are many activities you can do while you await the next application process to medical school. in your case, you should try to figure out why you weren't accepted and try to improve on it. for example, was it your undergraduate gpa, your mcat scores, your interview skills, or extracurricular activities? if your gpa or mcat scores were low, then take more courses to increase your gpa average. do this only if you are confident you will get the A's you need to up your gpa. there are many postbac programs so choose any one that you are interested in. good luck! by the way, have you considered foreign medical schools?
