Conver 145 degrees to radians

OpenStudy (anonymous):

CONVERT*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there are π radians in 180 degrees 145 * π/180 = 29π/36

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm still a little confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any time you want to convert degrees to radians multiply by π radians/180 degrees (the degrees will cancel each other and you are left with radians.

OoOO ok Thanks

pi radians is the same as 180 degrees. so pi/180 or 180/pi are both equal to 1. You can multiply anything by 1 and its still the same thing so you multiply: 145 Degrees ( pi radians/ 180 degrees). The degrees cancel and you are left with 29pi/36 radians
