factor by grouping 9m3-3m2p2-3mp+p3
(3m^2-p)(p^2-3m)
1st 2 terms factored 3m^2: 3m^2(3m- p^2) last terms factored -p:-p(3m -p^2) since we can see that the new common factor is 3m-p^2, so should be (3m -p^2)(3m^2-p)
those are different answers tho?
I'll recheck, I'm sure Cong Guo is much smarter than I, just offered to help. One sec...
No they are the same
u have 2p in the first term and he has p2
right, to my understanding it does not matter in waht order it is placed in.
no but thats not the order..thats different set up ..u said 2-p and he said p to the second power...in the first term..
I'll re do it, hold on.
sorry
not you're fine, I just became strong at this, so I'm still a little doubtful of myself. but I rechecked and I still seem correct, I'm horrible at explaining my reasoning, but but I appear to be correct never the less. lol
ok thanks =)
sure
is there a minus sign before it though?
yes it is!
=)
;) Good Luck to you!
