solve the inequality -3xle12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3x\[<12\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-3x <12\] \[x >-4\] Since when you multiply/divide by a negative number with an inequality, you change the sign.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i just devide both sides by 3 and change the sign cuz its negative?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup! That's all. The sign of the inequality, that is.
