what is it about visual basic?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It was made for beginner programmers. It is based around the simple concept of event driven programming, meaning you instruct the computer what to do when a person clicks a button or accesses your database. It is also used to track IP addresses using a GUI interface: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkDD03yeLnU Actually that's a joke, don't believe that last part.

Visual Basic (VB) is the third-generation event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) from Microsoft for its COM programming model. Visual Basic is relatively easy to learn and use. :)

It seriously sucks completely. Learn something powerful.

Visual Basic is a programing code written as close to spoke/written english language as you can get as opposed to c and c++ code that to the untrained eye would appear as gibberish, c and c++ advanced programers can actually write their own coding in both that only the code writer will understand... and yes visual basic is a often used a beginners or introduction to programing class because its code is written as close to english as you can get!! C and C++ first you would have to be taught the code and symbols before you could be taught to write and program in it...
