OSAMA BIN LADEN DEAD!!!!!! :)
we all know that
helppppp
What I find hard to understand is...Yeah, sure, it seems like a big plus for our national security. Great. But are people actually taking positive satisfaction from the death of another human being? :/
That's pretty depressing.
Why is it depressing? He has killed thousands of people over the years. If he dies what difference does it make and one less piece if pellet in this already messed up world.
He wasn't a human being he was a monster.
I know it isn't something to be upset about, but that wasn't my point. What I was trying to say was that it's a bit monstrous in itself to take satisfaction in the death of someone else.
He deserved to die. I would've done things unimaginable to that bastards body.
What's depressing is how PC some people are (you).
I agree with DM
He took pleasure in killing the people in 9/11. Why did he do it? For self satisfaction, right?
After serving 9 years in the military i am take a huge amount of pride in the death of that man.
I do agree though that OSAMA hated america so much that he did not care anything about the americans that he enjoyed killing hundreds of people who had nothing to do with him. and if he were alive he still would have killed others
It's not a matter of retribution, or revenge, loco85. I am NOT saying that he should remembered in a positive light. Stop insinuating that I'm pro-Osama. He was a terrible man, with a horrific past and was certainly a threat to his fellow humans. I'm not saying that we should be mourning his death. But, I think it's a bit sad the way that you take satisfaction in his death, much the same way he took satisfaction in the deaths of those he killed.
Yeah, I take satisfaction in his death and so does America and I'm pretty sure the rest of the world excluding you though.
Grow up and think about what you say before you make a fool of yourself.
woah... let's keep it down guys.
Here go look at the satisfaction of people http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/42852646#42852646
If you read your words, just as I see them, you'll begin to see my point.
Quantum you're such a pseudo-intellectual - please stop trying to act better than others and take the high ground...
I clearly know what I'm saying, but I'm starting to think you might be a terrorist yourself or a person with no emotions and a heart. I don't understand why you don't feel sorry for a monsters death.
someone hellp meeee i just posted one up
I concur with Newton.
...is it really trying to act better than others? Do I think he was a terrible man? Yeah. It's pretty hard to negotiate otherwise. Do I think that he was a threat to his fellow human? Yeah. Do I think that it was a reasonable act of national security for him to have been murdered? Probably. Do I think that anyone should be *happy* about the death of another human being? No. The point where someone takes positive satisfaction with the ending of life in another human is where that person becomes the monster. Stop attacking the person making the argument, and attack the argument instead, Newton (and loco85). Seriously.
You should've heard the satisfaction chants on ESPN during the mets games.
You're the one who is actively HAPPY about the death of another person -- and I'm the one with no emotions and no heart? loco, methinks you're loco.
Ok, how would you feel if one of your loved one was killed in the 9/11 attacks or any other attacks planned by Osama. You would still feel sorry for his death even though what he did to your loved? I'm pretty sure you would be satisfied in seeing a person like him die.
He's being brought to justice.
You're bending it to a situation in which your point of view works. Let's stay in our discussion, where things are relevant, shall we?
I'm happy because I have emotions. You're not is clearly shown by your dull and mundane comments.
personaly i don't think there is one persons life in the entire middle east whos life is more valuable than one american. One of the bigest threats to humanity has been perged of this earth, and this is something everyone should take pride it. While i know his death will not bring my buddies back, it is making sure no more of them will die by his hands. As soon as we clear up the rest of his little scum bag friends life will be better for everyone.
And is the rest of the world who are celebrating his death. So, you're saying billions of people around the world don't have any emotions and YOU do cause you feel sorry for a person like him.
You're making things up now, loco. Did I ever once say that I felt sorry for him? No. Choose your words wisely.
[Hitler was confirmed dead on May the 1st, too - coincidence? Given this new piece of information, I think we should be celebrating his death ] That was my impression of QuantumModulus logic, did it make sense?
Quantum just go this site and you'll see what emotions are. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/42852646#42852646
Loco85, if you're going to avoid my point and press yours upon me WHILE insulting me simultaneously, I'm not going to continue. Feel free to be as immature and emotional as you like.
Your here is to be avoided because your opinion is just so obscure. I doubt it if anyone would agree with you and from reading the comments so far from this post I see that people definitely happy in seeing Osama die.
I truly wish you'd read what you wrote. It's not about whether or not people will agree with my opinion. I've made it painstakingly clear, and it's your issue, not mine, if you think it's obscure. Also, it's not about whether or not the majority of people feel one way or the other. It's the underlying principle about whether or not it's particularly moral to feel that way at all. If all you're content with is downplaying the opinions of others simply because the majority agrees with you, and therefore feel like you're entitled to completely ignore my side of the issue, then I have nothing left to say to someone as hardheaded as you.
The crowds outside the whitehouse do look pretty lulzy
I even feel more sorry that you're saying all this albeit being an AMERICAN. Here I'll post the link again and hopefully you'll realize that people have morals is why we went to war, why we went on a hunt to find Osama and finally killed him. And, Osama had morals when he killed all these people over the years and his posies will continue to kill? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/42852646#42852646
Indeed
Osama lived by the sword, he deserved what he got. Justice prevailed. Justice should be an occasion for celebration. Terrorism won't end with his death, in fact his death may inspire additional attacks. However, it proves that you can run but you can't hide!
Something a would be terrorist should think about!
Definitely!
