Find the sum of the following series Sum[(3^(n-2))/8^n] from n=2 to infinity

They're all identity properties. If the answer equals 1 in mutliplication, you have an identity element, if the answer equals to 0 in addition you have an identity element. Addition: a+e = 0 Multiplication: a x e = 1 e being the right identity.
