OpenStudy (amistre64):

what is the equation of the plane that is parallel to the vectors <1,1,4> and <3,6,1>; and includes the point P(1,1,6)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-23x+11y+3z=6 is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Obtain the vector product of of <1,1,4> and <3,6,1>. This will give you a vector normal to the plane, lets say <a,b,c>. Then write the plane as a(x-1) + b(y-1) +c(z-6) =0

OpenStudy (amistre64):

him: very good :) sweet; let me verify those numbers ;)
