i need help with putting equations into the y=mx+b form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay. post your question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um say the equation was 3x+4y=6 how would i put it in y=mx+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get all the terms except y on the other side. 3x+4y = 6. subtract 3x from both sides 4y = -3x+6 divide by 4 on both sides. y = -3x/4 +3/2
