If a body weighs 400lbs on the surface of the earth, how much does it weigh 1000 miles from the surface of the earth? Assume the radius of the earth is 4000.

this belongs in physics force of gravity=F=K/(r^2) where K is a constant specific for each object and r^2 is the distance between the two objects. using K/(400^2)=400 we solve for K and then divide that number by (5000^2) to get the new weight
