Sorry, plug those values for h. so 0=-16t^2+56t 40=-16t^2+56t
no i need to know what to do next i have two choices (A) find the values of t for which h=0 or (B) when the ball 40 ft above the ground?
As suggested by ohcluap above, you get two quadratic equations Solving them will give you values of t Ignore negative value to t as time cannot be negative
