please will someone tell me if this is correct (4x^2-3x+7)-(-3x^2+4x-6) 4x^2-3x+7 -3x^2+4x-7 -------------- 7x^2-x+13 7x^2=(7x)(x) 13=(-1)(-13) 7(x-1)(x-13)

This is half way there.. Have a look at your method of subtraction. A negative minus a positive equals a negative. 7x^2- 7x +13. This can then be factorised down some more if need be.
