hey, check it out, you have already solved for y right?, now sub in four different values for x and see what y equals, try easy numbers like 1-4, or even -2,-1,1, 2 then match them with each other (1,8) = (x,y). consider them as points on a coordinate grid, just for comprehension's sake where values of x are horizontal and values of y are vertical., and they cross each other where x=y=0. Try plotting the points there and connect the dots.
