It is with the plasma membrane of the cell, Our plasma membrane is composed of many molecules called phospholipid bilayers and it is composed of protein and lipids. It is the protein head that is hydrophilic which means "water loving" because it is exposed to water unlike the lipid which is hydrophobic which repels away from water.
