how do you find the zeros of this function? y=x(x-2)(x+5

thats 2 of them..... but tell mme; what makes x=0?

anything multiplied by 0 is 0

(x-2)..x=2 makes it 0 (x+5)..x=-5 meakes it 0 x..... x=? makes this 0?

oh then 0 makes it 0 right?

that is correct, excellent :) its easy to forget that little 'x' all by itslef out there..
