So I am simplifying an equation and i thought i kne how to do it.. its prolly pretty easy to solve if you are in college :P but im in highschool and its in an attachment pls help!! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where is the attachment?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sowee :P it took me awhile to save it and attach it. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10a/7. what was so hard in this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:P u dont gotta be rude im only a sophomore and i missed this lesson :( and im behind in math :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just dont appreciate it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not being rude. I can explain it to you if you want.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That was what i was looking for thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay. \[(a/b) \times (c/d) = (a \times c) / (b \times d)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright. i understand that part :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 36 a^2/7 * 5/18a = 36a^2 * 5 / 7 * 18a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now, 36/18 = 2 and a^2/a = a*a/a = a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it becomes 2a*5 / 7 = 10a/7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahhhhhh YAY! ok thank you very much for giving me the steps as well :) i get it now!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok good, you are welcome
