I don't understand the way you're posting these: what is the y - x on the bottom? Is that the denominator?
yeah y-x is on the bottom is is set up like a division problem
(x + y)(x - y) ----------- (y - x) (x + y)(x - y) ----------- -(x - y) you can flip terms around a negative sign if you put a - out front (x + y) ------ (x - y)'s cancel -1 -(x + y) the negative one can go on top -x - y distribute.. either this answer or the one above it is good.
