{0,1,2,3,4,5,6} How many possibilities of 3 digit numbers 3 digit (even) 3 digit w/o repeating. I think I know the answer to the last which should be 6x5x4 but not sure!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The first one is: 7*7*7 The second is: 7*7*4 The last is: 7*6*5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, but you counted the 0, why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeh u cant start with a zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because it is in the set of original numbers. 000 is a number with three digits. If you did not want to count 000 and other numbers with 0's in the front the answers would be: The first one is: 6*7*7 The second is: 6*7*4 The last is: 7*6*5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Note the last one you should still count 012 and others like it because it only specifies 3 digits without repeating.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c'est 3 puissance 7 (3^{7}) parce que chacun de ces 7 chiffres peuvent prendre n'importe quel position dans ce nombre à trois chiffres ex:111 122 112 112
