The coordinate axes contain two sides of a square ABCD. If A(0, a) and B(0, 0) are two vertices of the square: State the coordinates of the other two vertices so that all coordinates are greater than 0: C and D... Please help. Also if u get the answer please show me how u got it.

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

not quite sure what they mean by greater than 0 i think C(a,0) and D(a,a)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay.... But how did u get that?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

its a square so all sides are same length (a) so C needs to be on x-axis (a) length away from B D needs to be length(a) away from both A and C

oh.. Okay..Thank you...
