how to calculate an actual size of a object using microscope

thats a good question....in microscopes they are provided with eyepiece slides which have scale over it....do measure the area or length it covers on the eyepiece and calibrate with the actual measuring scale...its pretty easy and by seeing on the eyepiece calibration you can directly tell the size...hope you got the things to be done...
