I dont understand subtract unlike fractions can someone explain it to me

you find a common denominator between the fractions. for ex lets say you have to add 2/4 + 5/2 the least common denominator between those two fractions is 4. so to get 5/2 with a denominator of 4, you have to multiply the top and bottom by 2. so youll get 10/4 now you can solve. 2/4 + 10/4 = 12/4, and it simplifies to 3. hope this helped :)

oh sorry, didnt notice you said subtract, but adding and subtracting fractions is basically the same idea of finding the least common denominator
