A factory increases the production of cars annually by 4%. If presently it manufactures 370, 000 cars per year, how many cars will it manufacture per year after 5 years?

hmm, alright using the given, you can say the following: if it manufactures 370,000 cars ----> 1 year it will manufacture x cars -------> 5 years Now that we have found the relationship between the following given, you can compute x by cross multiplying, and you'll get: x = (375,000)(5) = 1,875,000 cars in 5 years ^_^ I hope it made sense to you :)
