r=sin(theta)+cos(theta) convert polar equation to rectangular form

Are you sure this is the correct question? r = (x^2 + y^2)^1/2 ... so this equation doesnt quite make since...mainly because of the square root otherwise x = (sin(theta))^1/2 y = (cos(theta))^1/2

that is the right question
