if a line has a undefined slope what can u say about the horizontal coordinates of each of the points on the line? same?

OpenStudy (m):

they are the same?

OpenStudy (m):

slope is rise/run change of y/change of x it's undefined when denominator = 0 so change of x = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is usual that an undefined slope it usually means that it is tending to infinity. so a function x^2 has no change in the horizontal coords but 1/x2 has infinite change in horizontal coords.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

undefined means line is vertical. say the line is x = 2. then all coordinates look like (2,y) for any y
