Trying to go on
As if life is still the same
However, war is to blame
For the way our family has become withdrawn
It's still hard to believe that you are really gone
I keep expecting to hear you call my name
But all that's left is the pictures in frames

Its a real shame.

rather than finding something to rhyme with on, focus your poem some more. Your poem seems to be talking about the loss of a loved one to war, but at first it seems like that loved one is a family member like a sibling--->"For the way our family has become withdrawn." 
Then the next 3 lines make it seem like the person is a dead lover...
