myininaya (myininaya):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea idk how

myininaya (myininaya):

the inverse of tan is arctan so take arctan of both sides arctan will cancel the arc leaving you with x=arctan(5/9)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take arctan of 5/9

myininaya (myininaya):

tan*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do u do...that?

myininaya (myininaya):

in your calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use a calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank yous

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin(x)=5 and cos(x)=9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that would be a miracle, since both sine and cosine are bounded between -1 and 1. there is number whose cosine is 9!
