If 100 pounds is shared at the ratio of 2:3, how much is the larger share? Please can I also know the formula to calculate this?

OpenStudy (radar):

Well we know that the sharing whole is 5. Divide 100 by 5 100/5=20 So the 2 ratio share is 2x20=40 and the 3 ratio becomes 3x20=60 60+40=100
