entire triangle is congruent to little 3, 4, 5 triangle, so compare any ratios. for example \[\frac{x+3}{5}=\frac{5}{3}\] \[3(x+3)=5\times 5\] \[3x+9=25\] \[3x=16\] \[x=\frac{16}{3}\]
