if we draw a five card hand from a standard 52 card deck what is the probability that they are all face cards (jack king queen)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you choose something you have to remember the formula for it. ( or work it out) C\[C _{5}^{52}=52!/((52-5)!*5!)\] We say for this this choose five out of 52. (this is all the possible 5 cards) Now we have to count the number of good results. we have 12 face cards and we need to choose 5, so it is choose five out of 12. \[C _{5}^{12}=12!/((12-5)!*5!)\] So the answer is good results/all results. 792/2598960=0.0003047
