Which value(s) of x should be excluded for the polynomial? Here are the options for the answer. A. 3 B. 3 and -3 C. 4 D. 4 and -4 I will attach the polynomial in a comment.
Here is the Polynomial
thats not a polynomial :)
:P Thats strangeee thats the exact question >.< lol
the answer is A
Would u mind explaining how u got that? :)
a rational expression is not defined as a polynomial; something to do with the definitions lol
the bottom poly can be factored into what?
-3 and 3 rite?
oh wait -3 and -3
not what are the roots; but what is its factored form? (x )(x )
ohhhhh (x - 3) (x - 3)
now we can see what makes this turn to 0 and be bad for a denominator.... x = 3 right?
Ahh! ya i see overall what u did :)
Gotcha! ok then thanks :)
youre welcome :)
So then if you simplify the attached file , what would it be?
it wouldnt simplify it would just change from fatored to unfactored forms
(x+4)(x-4) --------- (x-3)(x-3)
Right but then what would that simplify to? >.< sorry im confused there is no option for that answer :)
in order to simplify and equation; you have to be able to reduce it down by cross out like factors top and bottom; there are none in this case
2x 1 --- simplifies --- 4xy 2y
Thats strange here are the options for simplifying it gives me i will attach them in files :)
this one....doesnt simplify; its as basic as you can get it
Here :)
1 and 4 are negative of each other so they simply go to -1
Yes and so i assumed it would be the file labeled three would that be rite? :)
3 doesnt simplyfy so much as just factors out 1 ------ 3(2x-3)
number 2 simplifies; maybe lol
-9 3 ------ = ----- -6x+9 (2x-3)
Ohhh!!! ok! ok! :D thankies!! :) lol
youre welcome :)
