Todd wants to buy limes. Which is the best buy?
5 limes for $1
12 limes for $3
4 limes for $0.89
8 limes for $2

Please explain (I think I know how to do this but I just want to cheack ;) )

You should figure out how much each lime costs in each scenario:
5 limes for $1 -> $0.20 per lime (1/5)
12 limes for $3 -> $0.25 per lime (3/12)
etc

All you have to do is divide the $ by the number of limes :) and you get the amount per lime. whichever is the better deal gives u your answer! :) does that help? (:
