Hello, I have a pronunciation question. [oo] in the word (Look) is pronounced /ʊ/, but why [oo] in the word (Moon) is pronounced /uː/?

I just have a guess: mabye it depends on the letter which is following [oo]

Unfortunately English pronunciation is not really logical. They have different roots and their pronunciation varies.
