OpenStudy (anonymous):

i still don't get it. i SUCK at math.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see il explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

doesn' say angles degree , but given use square 3 I can tell, hypotenuse = twice time shot leg 16/2=8 than CB = 8*2=16 \[\sqrt{3}* 16= the heigh\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if u drop a perpendicular to a base from any vertex, it divides ur equilateral triangle into two halves

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the side of your equilateral triangle is a, the base of each of these 2 triangles is a/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{3}* 8 \]not 16 sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like him say the side divi haft triangle 16/2=8 the heigh = square3* 8 CB=8*2=16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{16^{2}-8^{2}}=13.9\] A=(16*13.9)/2 A=111.2
