18x+216=18(x+12)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you try?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dnt know how to get the x's together? or do i not have to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

open the parentheses first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then how do i get the x's together?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the x's cancel out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

X can be any number as 18 x 12 =216

OpenStudy (amistre64):

18*12 = 216 so any x will work; they are them same equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you don't What you get is x=x, which is always true, so there much be infinite solutions, Infact every R is a solution!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

lol.... i spose that would be wiser; cancleing out the 216s :)
