OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do I change this into a parabola equation (or tell which direction the parabola opens): y = x^2 - 4

OpenStudy (sgadi):

y-4>0 always, so it opens up (+ve side of Y-axis) becasue the value of Y keep on increasing with increase of x

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its already a parabola equation it opens up is centered about the yaxis and is drooped down 4 from the origin

OpenStudy (amistre64):

(y+4) = x^2
