I wouldn't say that. By definition, living things must have metabolic capacity. Cell wall certainly don't have mitochondria to burn ATP. Although cell wall has some sort of chemical reactions going on there, I wouldn't say they are a living thing. Like I don't consider your arm to be a living thing by itself. :-)
