entropy is energy transport away from a system; the opposite of syntropy, the collection of energy into a system. the sun is entropic; the earth is syntropic. Syntropy is identified with life while entropy is deterioration or death

Bare bones: Entropy in statistical mechanics is a measure of the total number of unique states a system can be in. This mathematically expressed as the log of number of states.

A a measure of a system's tendency toward disorder... Also an indicator of whether or not a process can happen spontaneously. If you are asking questions about entropy, you should probably read up on the laws of thermodynamics. The second law in particular is where entropy shines.

Entropy, in the basic jargon, is simply just the amount of energy given to a certain amount of matter over a time interval. If you have alotta energy over a small time period, then you have alotta entropy. and vice versa
