I have a question that says: You have 3 boards. One 6 foot, one 10 foot, and one 8 foot. How many different lengths can you make from these boards? I think I am supposed to come up with an algebra equation to solve this, and I am lost.

hard to tell what it is spose to mean; there are an infinite number of lengths mathmatically in one board; physically tho there is the width of an atom i spose
otherwise its just combining the boards to get different lengths; 3.2.1 = 6 way
6 8 10 6+8 6+10 8+10 6 ways
