integrate x.cos(2x^3 +1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm what have you tried so far?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was going to say substitution but that still doesn't fixed the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=u cos(2x^3+1)dx= dv 1dx=du but then I cant figure out the integration of cos(2x^3+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no I was going to say u = 2 x^3 + 1 and du= 6x^2 gives you sin(u) x/6 du but you still have an x there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you i've managed I said U=2x^3+1 then it all came up thanx
