Where can the perpendicular bisectors of the sides of a right triangle intersect?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

umm.... if i read it correctly; they intersect at the midpoint of the hypotenuse

OpenStudy (amistre64):

which is how we define midpoint of a line in the first place roght?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

thats my aussie accent...roight lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess so. thanks for the reply :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you guess so? :) take the width and cut it in half; take the height and cut it in half; the trianlge rations the same so the hyptoenuse is halved as well; the mid point of the line is half way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, now i understand what the question is asking ^^

OpenStudy (amistre64):

those mathmatickers are sly and coy aint they lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):
