the left side is usually the 'x' component; which leaves the other to be the 'y' component
they have the same bottoms on i see that
it gives a hint to factorise but im not sure how to use it

t^2 +4 + 4t (t+2)(t+2) ------------ = --------- = 1 (t+2) (t+2) (t+2)(t+2)
y = 1 with a hole at -2 i think
x+y = 1 y = -x then
lol the answers is y=1-x
