y-10>2y-3 add y both sides -10 > 3y - 3 add 3 both sides -7 >3y devide both sides by 3 -7/3 > y.........that is....y< -7/3 is 1 <-7/3??? no...so 1 is not a solution is -16 <-7/3??? yes...so -16 is a solution is -15 <-7/3??? yes...so -15 is a solution is 2 <-7/3??? no...so 2 is not a solution
