it is definitely not a circle since we have the coefficients of x^2 and y^2 do not equal it is likely to be an ellipse since the sign of x^2 is the same as the sign of y^2, but there could also be no graph now we are required to do more thinking

hey try to write it like this [(x-1)^2]/5+[(y+3)^2]/4=9/2 this an ellsipse since the RHS is not negative
the center is (1,-3)

also if the RHS was zero after writing it in that form this would the graph of the point (1,-3)
