3#+2y=-6 x+3y=-2 plez help me with this

OpenStudy (watchmath):

Multiply the second equation by -3 and add it to the first to get \(-7y=0\) So \(y=0\). It follow that \(3x+0=-6\). Hence \(x=-2\).
