1. R^ + 36 over R + 6 = r + 6 2. A^ - 49 over A - 7 = A -7 3. Q^ + 25 over Q + 25 = Q + 5 HOWEVER -- My professor said the second one can NOT be simplified. The book is saying the third one can NOT be simplified. The three problems basically look the same - just with different number - so why can one of them be simplified but the other two can't???
