which country has the best contemporary architecture do you think ?

I'm not an architect, but a lot of the study abroad programs for architects in my school seem to focus on Barcelona - I went there last summer and its architecture is very impressive. Copenhagen stands out as well. Outside of Europe, I've heard a lot about Shanghai's architecture, and its development seems to be fairly recent so I'm assuming the majority of its buildings fit within the that category
