median = number in the middle. lay them out in increasing order and find the middle number. mean = average. add up all the numbers and divide by the number of numbers. range = highest - lowest

even mean it is divisible by 2. yr first set up there is even, the next one is odd. 2,4... 2 / 2 = 1, 4 / 2 = 2 (these are all even) 1,3... these are not divisible by 2. they are odd

this will make sense because for an even number of numbers then there will be no exact "middle" number.
